Shopping Haul | Pandora, Essie, Nars etc.

Another pay day...another shopping spree. I like to think I am good at saving money but lately I have just had to urge to work, spend, work spend, which really isn't the way to be! First stop on my spree was Boots. I have a shellac set at home and love it to bits but I really wanted a white nail vanish fast, so I purchased Essie Blanc as well as a topcoat, take a look at my instagram for close up as I lost my camera and now I have chipped a nail... not a good look!
Then into SpaceNK where I purchased NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Vanilla. I am so sick of my Collection 2000 that I thought I would treat myself (not that I needed too) and buy one that actually matches my skin tone. So far so good but it's only day one (:
Oh Pandora! All my girls have Pandora rings and although I have had my bracelet since my 16th birthday, I just never considered myself as a ring person...until now. This is from their Autumn collection and I am slightly in love, looking to purchase the earrings to match, uh-oh.

Then onto River Island where I bought this black simple top. I never wear black so this is a bit out of my comfort zone but the v-neck is so elegant and classy that I can see myself wearing it a lot! Following on from buying my adorable Koala Slippers I was eager to buy a dressing gown. How pretty is this one from Boux Avenue? I have worn it every day since and loveee it to bits, its so me!

And there you have it, think I got over excited with money but ohwells... that's why you work eh?!

Sale Purchases

I have decided to actually focus on my blog a little more this year and give it a bit of structure instead of just random posts here and there! I haven't yet decided how I am going to do this but seeing as its a new year and all I think its time to put in a bit more effort! Unfortunately though... my new year resolution is to stop going into Boots and buying makeup that I really don't need, so there's not going to be many updates makeup related! We'll see how long that lasts though!

Xmas Sales

I have never been fond of sales and still haven't got my head around why people queue up from god knows o'clock outside Next for the boxing day sale?! HOWEVER, I did end up going to Westfield a few days after Christmas and feel like I actually succeeded in sale buying. Here are just a few of my purchases :)

These were such a bargain! £27 to £13.50, you can't exactly go wrong!

Ted Baker bags are lovely, I must have about 4 bags and 2 purses now. The quality is beautiful and this black clutch was reduced from £69 to £48. Not a hugeee bargain but I was in need of a black clutch so it was worth it.

Zara was defiantly my favourite shop of 2013! Everything, in my opinion, is more sophisticated and higher quality than other shops without the hefty price tag! I actually had my eye on a black jacket but opted for this instead. It had £20 off and I think I have worn it every day since!

I can't explain how happy I was when I found this dogtooth print dress in sale. I was going to buy it when it was full price but went for a different dress in the end. This was my New Years Eve outfit, which I wore with my Ted Baker clutch bag and black wedges.

Hope you like it all!

Topshop Haul!

I REALLY must stop spending now but Topshop keep releasing amazing items lately, my bank balance does not like it one bit.
So what did I buy...

1/ Joni high waisted black jeans. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with topshop jeans. Sometimes they are fab, but sometimes they lack a lot of quality and can feel very thin. I am usually all for the Leigh jeans but the sizing wasn't great in the black so I opted for the comfy high waisted instead.

2/ Tartan top. I am loving these box tops at the moment. The photo really doesn't do it justice. It has a beautiful texture, its pretty thin feeling but is silky soft!

3/ Boots! Boots aren't usually my thing but my converse and uggs have seen better days so I treated myself. They are so comfortable and real leather. Apparently they are selling out everywhere which isn't a surprise at all!

Off to dinner again tonight so will probably piece these together :)

Hope everyones had a lovely weekend

Wish list!

Now that I am employed & with a student loan that can only mean one thing, shopping!! However I am actually going to try and be good and save all my work money for travelling and for items that I actually really need.. see how long that'll last ha!

I have actually been good with my money and haven't done a big shopping spree in a while, I did buy some makeup of course and a new skirt so will share that and also somethings that I REALLY would love to afford!

1: House of Fraser are currently holding £10 off top 10 beauty products such as Double Wear Estee Lauder Foundation but also this new Benefit Blusher from £23.50 to £13.50 which is gorgeous, its kind of a mix of coral and brozer!
2: River Island Tube Skirt. I love these skirts, I bought the pink one in sale a month ago or so and then found this green one in the sale, yay!

Wish list

Now for my want list.
1: Chloe Roses. If you have yet to smell the new Chloe Perfume then you are missing out, if you are a girl of course. I love Chloe, I have the original and must get bought it nearly every year as its so beautiful and strong too! This one is just as beautiful and can not wait to ask for it for Christmas, perfume just isn't the same if you buy it for yourself ha!

2: Wooden Spoon. Okay this is a bit random BUT this will be posted as a little hint for someone to buy me it for Christmas too or just whenever some one wants to treat me ha. Its found on notonthehightstreet.com, literally the best site for any unique cute gift ideas and this is just one of them. A personalized wooden spoon with a cupcake on it, what more could a girl want?!

3: Michael Kors Selma in Black and White. Okay now I have been eyeing this bag up for a while now, its £350 which if you compare to a Mulberry is techinically not that expensive for a bag. I currently own a beautiful Ted Baker bag that I bought as a treat last year and although I absolutely love it, it does not compare to this little beaut! Fingers crossed for my 21st birthday eh.

Time to go to work to earn some money if I want to have these in my life!

Shopping!

Hey beauties :)!

I have had no internet lately due to moving house so I am going to rush this post so it doesn't cost too much on my wifi hotspot thingy from my phone! But guess who went shopping again.. oopsie! I haven't even got my student loan in and am still in my over draft but I start my new job tomorrow so that basically pays for the shopping I done today! :)

I 'needed' some new makeup brushes for my new powder and also to contour so I purchased the Real Techniques Core Collection which includes.. a Detailer Brush for concealer and also lipstick, a Pointed Foundation Brush ( I probably will find some other use for that), a Buffing Brush for powder, and a Contour Brush to erm.. contour and highlight!

I also bought some eye lashes curlers and... Sleek face contour palette in Light which I already love!

Ohhh.. I also had 2 days work experience at my local weather station place on campus and we had to do a filmed weather forecast ek! Was amazing (:

Anyways, hope everyone's having a lovely week, thank you for all the amazing comments and hello to all my lovely new followers!! :')

Lotsa love, Kathryn xxx
