Ko Phi Phi | Youtube Thailand Holiday Video!

10th July

Today we took an odd minibus journey from Khao Sok to Krabi. On the way to the pier we picked up some Canadians and Americans who we keep bumping into! Boat was good although I got a tad burnt. We arrived at 5 pm and walked to our hotel 'The White'. Average but good enough. Then took a walk to the viewpoint. A little cloudy today but the views were still stunning. Ate at a hut place which had no name but the beef curry and mango sticky rice was glorious! At around 9 o'clock there was a huge fire show on the beach so sat with some pina coladas and mojito's and watched fire skipping ropes.

11th July

As for today... We walked to Phi Phi bakery and I ordered a English Muffin with peanut butter mmm. Then we booked a half day trip aaround the island. Chilled on the beach until then. So we got on the longtail boat and headed to monkey island. They were everywhere, attacking everyone including me. They stole peoples beers, oreos, water, you name it they stole it.

Would not recommend this place.
Got back onto our longtail boat & sat for 20 minutes or so in storm-like waves. We were all drenched and thought we were going to die. Pulled up at a cove where they told us to swim to these cliffs with spider string ropes everywhere. We crawled out and Alice somehow fell back into the boat which was so funny.

Struggled but made our way to the rocks and climbed through the cave. Walked through some beautiful greenery to end up at Maya Beach AKA The Beach. It was stunning, white sand, clear water, pure heaven. We then went snorkelling which was awesome. Saw some huge parrot fish, yellow fish and some beautiful coral. Swam in a cave then made our way past a viking cave.
Went back to our favourite dinner place and had big noodles (miss these soo much) along with mango sticky rice then sat and chatted with the Americans.
All in all a pretty eventful day.

Thailand 2014 Holiday Video:

This is where my Thailand journey comes to an end! We headed to Krabi then back to Bangkok... however I ended up needed to get the Rabies jabs hence why I would not suggest visiting them monkeys. Hope you have enjoyed my little diary and please give a thumbs up if you like my holiday video!

Khao Sok National Park

8th July

Hello Khao Sok National Park! Today we woke up at 5:30 am for 6 am pick up to the pier. Bought a trusty raisin bun from 7 Eleven & headed to the catamaran. It was so windy so Alice and I sat outside just in case I started to feel sick. A guy from Israel named Alex sat with us but I think he regretted that after a few minutes. 2 hours later we arrived in Surat Thani & caught the bus to Khao Sok where a taxi later picked us up. It is beautiful! We are in River Cottage 2 by the river with a lovely outside shower and a huge mosquito net. It has rained all day but hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better for the trek around the park. This evening was some celebration thing with very bad dancers ha. We also had many power cuts but I saw a firefly which was pretty cool.

9th July

Didn't get much sleep last night and heavy monsoon weather at the moment. Had egg on toast for breakfast then headed to the lake. It was awful weather so we were given ponchos to wear whilst on the long boat. The view, from what the rain would let us see was beautiful. An hour there we then headed to the floating raft houses which were so pretty in the emerald lake. Spoke to some girls who where from my area also, such a small world. Ally and I hired out a kayak but it started to rain again. Food was glorious! Fresh fish, green curry, banana fritters and plenty of rice and fruit. We then walked into the jungle where we saw caterpillars, tarantula nests and monkeys, then we got on a bamboo raft to a beautiful cave. So glittery. The day ended and our tour guide let us hitch a ride on his moped so we could get to the ATM haha.

Little obsessed with long tail boats!

Remind anyone of an elephant?!

Stunners.

Koh Phangan

5th July continued

We arrived bright and early to catch the ferry over to Koh Phangan. We are staying in Longtail Beach Resort on the North East coast. It is adorable, so perfect.. if only we could have Koh Tao's beach here too. The bungalows are so sweet with hammocks and wind chums. For lunch we ordered a chicken sandwich which was delicious then headed to the viewpoint. Was a steeper walk than expected... For breakfast we ate at Nina's Bakery mmmm!

7th July

Yesterday we had planned to go beach hopping but it was soo expensive, we really wanted to see Bottle Beach :(. Instead, we walked to the opposite bay to ours to chill out!

Today we went to Anthong Marine National Park which consists of 42 islands. The taxi picked us up at 8am and hopped onto some oldy worldy brown boat. The sea was unbelievably choppy that caused one girl to throw up over the boat. Firstly I jumped off the diving board to snorkel however the sea wasn't that clear unlike Koh Tao.  After some lunch we headed to Emerald Lagoon via kayak which was stunning then climbed another viewpoint! The view was incredible, defiantly worth the hike up!
